My career in childcare started as a family support worker, where I worked with families in their homes. I later enrolled to university where I qualified as a Social Worker in July 2002
Play areas are important for children, giving them a space for pretend play, expressing and imagining themselves. Play areas promote thinking, problem solving, and turn taking, and help children learn and develop skills in all domains. Of course, play areas are also important for developing physical dexterity and good health.
